WRITING TIPS
- PART 1: This part is a test to your grammar. Everything you write must be correct. The second sentence MUST have the same meaning as the first sentence. You have to write between one and three words. Contractions count as TWO words.
- PART 2: The first line of the instructions describes a situation to you. Read it carefully and imagine the situation. The instructions tell you to write three points in your message. Make sure you say something about each point. Don't forget to write your name at the end of your message. Don't write less tan 35 words nor more tan 45 words. Check what you have written.
- PART 3: In this part you will have to choose betwenn a letter or a story. If your choose the letter, you will have to reply to something from an English penfriend. As usual, the letter starts with DEAR ...., and a HELLO sentence. You should end with a GOOD BYE sentence and sign your name. If you choose the story, you will have either the title or the first sentence to guide you. Ask yourself some questions before you start to write: WHO...? WHERE...? WHEN...? WHY...? WHAT HAPPENED IN THE END? Don't write less than 80 words nor more than 100. Check it for spelling.
