READING TIPS

I am going to give you some tips for the Reading part:

- PART 1: MULTIPLE CHOICE: look at the three explanations and choose which one is closest to the main notice. It can: tell you what to do or not to do, tell you what is available, give you information about things.
- PART 2: underline the most important information and look for similarities with the texts given.
- PART 3: This part is TRUE/FALSE exercise, be sure you understand the text. Don't worry if you don't know some words.
- PART 4: Normally the first question and the last one is about the whole text, so you can try to answer last. In this kind of text you have to understand people's attitudes and opinions, and factural information, too. The first question is most of the time about the WRITER'S PURPOSE.
- PART 5: you should first read through the whole text to get a good idea of the general meaning. Sometimes your vocabulary is tested, other times the grammar.
